Purpose

The stand-alone web application functions as a research and workshop tool that can be used independently from the Searcher Installation. It will have the key functionalities of the installation, as well as a few additional ones that should include:

  • Ability to send a semantic search query to the search of a collection
  • Ability to add explicit collection items by the input of an object identification number
  • An itemized list of key meta-data of the images
  • Ability to save an image constellation as a published result
  • Ability to view published panels

Furthermore the stand-alone application might offer:

  • user configurations (tuning search)
  • statistics on published results
  • Aternative pannel generations using the same search data

The stand-alone application will be used as an internal research and workshop tool and form the basic structure for future mobile interfacing (via captive-portal hotspot) of the searcher installation.
